Now Taking Applications:  Awakening Dharma Mentoring Program
- August 2010 Program--Full with a wait list
- 2011 Program (date TBD)--Applications now being accepted

The year-long mentoring group beginning in August 2010 is now full. We are now accepting applications for the next group to start in 2011 at a time TBD.  For the 2011 group, please note that we are planning to schedule the calls so that people in the U.K. and Europe can more easily participate.

Our vision for each mentoring group is to create a vibrant and intimate sangha of people who have a deep interest and commitment to their own unfoldment as they experience it in their worldly lives and in a community of like-minded people. While we are not placing an experience requirement on participants, we do ask that people only apply who are ready to commit to a daily meditation practice and seriously ask the deeper questions of life in engaging “the mystery.”

How does one apply?

Each group is limited to 12 participants to maintain intimacy and privacy of the individual and group work.  To be considered, applicants must have attended one of our retreats, or must have completed at least three individual phone sessions with us. For details about the program, please download the Mentoring Program Overview below. Once you have read the overview, if you would like to apply, please download the Mentoring Program Application below, complete the application form in MS word, and email it to info@jhanasadvice.com. We will email you when your application is received. Once we have determined the start date for 2011, we will notify people of whether they have been selected.

One-on-One Spiritual Guidance

If you have simple, brief questions that can be answered by email, we are happy to provide these freely or on a dana basis.

For more extended or ongoing inquiries, we offer individual spiritual guidance / coaching sessions to dharma practitioners by phone. The focus of these calls is your dharma practice and how it informs your worldly life. Because we are also both professional coaches, we can also offer you tools with which you can further understand your personality structure and how it both supports your practice, and also manifests as hindrances.
If you are interested in spiritual guidance, you can choose which one of us you wish to work with, or you can alternate between us. If you choose to work with one of us, we may occasionally also suggest that you do a session with the other teacher to balance your practice and understanding.

Spiritual guidance is offerred via phone calls of either 30 minutes or 1 hour, either as needed or on a regularly scheduled basis. Regularly scheduled calls can be every two weeks or monthly. One-on-one sessions are offered on a sliding scale of $75 to $150 per hour. For half an hour, the fee is $45 to $70. Payment is made in advance via PayPal, using the button below. Please enter the amount appropriate for your session.

Please note that we no longer offer one-on-one guidance for solo retreats. If you wish to undertake a retreat with us, please register for one of our public retreats.

Dharma Talks and Retreats by Invitation

We are available to give dharma talks or lead retreats at your location. For a sample of our dharma talks, please visit the Dharma Talks page. If you or your sangha are interested in organizing a retreat or dharma talk for us to lead, please contact us directly as found on the Contacts page.
